Alstonville Roof Restoration - Dulux Acratex 3-Coat System

Here’s a roof restoration I recently completed for Kath in Alstonville, a solid project that brought the roof back to life and gave the whole home a much cleaner, sharper look.

The job started with a full 3000 PSI pressure wash, removing years of dirt, lichen and weather build-up. From there, I worked through tile replacements and a full repoint, making sure everything underneath the coating system was sound. A roof is only as good as its prep, and this one definitely needed the attention.

For the coating system, I used the Dulux Acratex 3-coat system:

• Acratex Primer Surfacer to lock everything down and level out the surface

• Acratex Roof Membrane (Semi-Gloss) for the top coats

  The colour is Colorbond Ironstone - a strong, clean coastal tone that suits Alstonville’s mix of rural and modern homes.

The transformation was huge. A properly restored roof doesn’t just look better; it adds protection and value for years to come.
