Hi, I’m James - founder of Elite Choice Painting Service.
Originally from Margaret River in Western Australia, I trained and worked under highly regarded master painters, gaining experience across modern homes, heritage buildings and detailed architectural projects.
In 2015, I relocated to the Byron Bay region and established Elite Choice Painting Service. Since then, the business has grown into a small, close-knit team by design. Keeping things deliberately tight allows us to maintain strict quality control, a strong work ethic, and a level of care that doesn’t come from running at volume. Deadlines are commitments, not estimates.
With more than 25 years of experience, my team and I bring a deep understanding of products, systems and application methods, including specialty finishes, airless and HVLP spraying, automotive and 2-pack coatings. This breadth of knowledge allows us to choose the right approach for each project — not just the fastest one.
