Coopers Shoot Estate — Interior & Exterior Transformation in the Byron Hinterland
“Spectacular” is the only word that truly fits this Coopers Shoot property - a sweeping estate set in the rolling hinterland above Byron Bay, where architecture, landscape and craftsmanship all meet at a higher standard.
Working alongside the talented team at Green Ark Design + Construction, led by Greg Tollis, this new build was a pleasure to bring to life. But like many ambitious projects in the Northern Rivers, it arrived with a tight deadline, unexpected curveballs, and evolving plans. Through it all, our focus stayed the same: deliver a finish that feels effortless, elevated and uncompromised.
James and the Elite Choice team stepped in with a calm, methodical approach - grounding the process with clean preparation, dustless sanding, and precision spray techniques. The work spanned the interior and exterior of three self-contained cabins, as well as the full interior and exterior of the main residence. Every space had its own rhythm, its own detail to honour, and its own atmosphere to bring forward.
Despite the hurdles, the finish exceeded expectations — a testament to the craftsmanship, the collaboration, and the trust shared across the project. The clients were thrilled with the clarity of the detailing, the finesse of the surfaces, and the quiet precision that shaped the final result.
