Cape Byron Restoration — Large-Scale Exterior Repaint in Byron Bay

When we talk about large-scale repaints, Cape Byron sits in a category of its own. With 70 weatherboard homes spread across a welcoming coastal retirement village, this project has been an ongoing labour of care, detail and community.

Nestled in the Byron Bay landscape, the village is home to residents who value peace, routine and connection. From day one, the brief was clear: deliver a restorative repaint with absolute sensitivity to the lifestyle of the community. So James and the team have worked closely with onsite management and each homeowner to plan work at times that cause minimal disruption. Quiet prep, respectful communication, and a compassionate presence have guided every stage.

A combination of scraping, sanding, gapping, filling, brushing and spraying - all chosen to bring each cottage back to its best without losing its original character. The colour selections and application methods were designed to give them renewed life while keeping their heritage charm intact.

It’s the kind of project that blends craftsmanship with people-first thinking — something we’re genuinely proud to be a part of.

If you’ve got a home or large-scale restoration on the horizon, we’d love to chat and help you bring it back to life with the care it deserves.
